Lucy's Piano Recital
Miss Lu played a holiday piece called "Aspenglow" for her recital this year. She did so well! And Ms. Mallory called her up at the end and recognized her in front of everyone for passing off her music note flag cards in 45 seconds (she was the first one to make the goal!).

Things we love about Huntsville: The US Space and Rocket Center!
Here the kids are dancing and playing through a multimedia projection part of the exhibit.
Calvin was most excited about the fact that Legos were included :) Lucy liked the giant foam blocks too. I didn't get a picture of it, but she also really enjoyed the exhibit on the spinning wheel. There was an employee in period dress using an actual spinning wheel, and it was really fascinating to see how it worked.
Every time we go, Lucy climbs the climbing wall. She just scampered up there this time!
Lucy also loves the rides that spin around and around ... Calvin and I waited happily outside in the beautiful autumn afternoon.
Living by the rocket museum is a pretty big deal when you're a four-year-old obsessed with all kinds of vehicles!

Reflections!
So proud of Miss Lu for winning first place in the Music Composition category in her school's contest! She received her ribbon tonight at the PTA meeting, presented by Principal Hill.

Spelling Boy
I was totally not surprised at the word Calvin chose to spell and trace today--that kid sure loves his Legos!
Cute treats
These little fruit ghosts and pumpkins for Calvin's preschool fall party were a hit! Super quick and easy to make too :)
