We spent St. Patrick's day driving home. Luckily, it was only a few hours from Roswell to Los Alamos. The kids took full advantage of the hotel beds before we left.
And we made it home just fine! Hooray for the Great Texas Roadtrip! It was so fun to reconnect with family and friends, try out some new things, and go to new places. And for a while it seemed like we brought the spring weather back with us ... until it snowed two weeks later. (Photo of our backyard, April 2nd.) And that's how we know we're back in our New Mexican mountains :)
