Summer in Seattle: Day 15 = Sandpiper!
We were all so excited to get to the Sandpiper this year! Calvin's been asking about "the beach" this entire trip. Lu was a great helper unloading the cars; as soon as we were unpacked, we hit the soft Sandpiper sands!

Summer in Seattle: Day 14 = Sunday doughnuts
It was a family day: we went to church with Julie, and Uncle Steve, Carrie, and Steven joined for dinner. Steven and Carrie brought doughnuts in a pink box that we had to hide up high to keep them safe from Calvin. Somehow, that's the only pic I took all day.

Summer in Seattle: Day 12 = Snoqualmie Falls!
After dinner we went up to the outlets in North Bend to find some new school shoes for the kids (thank you Nana!). On our way back we stopped at Snoqualmie to see the falls at sunset. Gorgeous!
Summer in Seattle: Day 12 = Ballard Locks
We took a friend with us after Cooney Camp for a picnic at the locks. We saw a whole line of yachts go through, and a giant container ship filled with mountains of sand and gravel being pushed by a tug boat the other direction. The kids were pretty enthralled!

It was a seriously glorious day for an afternoon at the beach by Nana's house.
