After the kid-centered morning, we booked a babysitter and went out on the town ... well, ok, we went to Hutto. Apparently at some point, a circus hippo escaped in Hutto, Texas, and the town has since then built its entire identity around hippos. We went to eat at a little cafe with crazy stuff on the menu like dill pickle chips (better than they sound) and huge pieces of pie. Fantastic!
When we returned back to Randy and Heather's, Calvin and Navy had become pretty close as friends. The turning point appeared to be the moment they discovered they could wrestle each other.
